Writing Down Emotions

Do you know that writing down your thoughts and how you feel, can act as an outlet for your emotions?

📗 🖋 📘 🖋 📙 🖋 📕 🖋

I have found journaling or writing in general, highly beneficial.

It helps in clearing up my thoughts.

Jot down all my ideals, objectives, and goals.

Keep tabs on my daily life.

Most importantly, it helps me determine what makes me uplifted and happy.

People who experienced trauma, especially those who are suffering the pains and anguish caused by Depression, PTSD, Addiction and Cancer can also improve the quality of their life through journaling.

It can make relevant connections between their feelings, thoughts, and the way they act.

How come?

When using the journal method, you are exercising the left side of your brain, which is the more rational and analytical side.

When your left hemisphere is busy, your right hemisphere, which is the creative side, can play.

When this happens, your creativity thrives, which can make a significant difference in your daily life.

Try journaling for yourself and observe if these 5 things happen to you:

• Improve your working memory

• Enhance your mood

• Improve your sense of well-being

• Minimize symptoms of depression

• Minimize avoidance symptoms.

Allow me to give these two women a special mention,

🎖 Dee Manuel and🎖 Caryn Bonjoc Dumalagan

‘Coz when amid my recovery from PTSD, they have given me journal books on which I could write down my thoughts and emotions.

Now, I am using all the entrees in those books as a foundation framework in working with clients who suffer from PTSD, Addiction, and Cancer.

Find yourself a decent book and a pen.

Let your thoughts go wild.

Let your emotions be raw.

Let your left brain be busy.

Let your right brain go play.
