Have you ever experienced that rush of inspiration that propels you to do something out of the ordinary, something you’ve always wanted to do but never quite got around to?
Well recently I found myself caught in the throes of such inspiration, and it let me on a delightful journey - I literally wanna have a free ride, quite literally, on a trusty motorbike
Why?
Because as a mother, I’ve had a fair share of roles and responsibilities - from caregiver to teacher, and from chef to chauffeur.
One role I never imagined I’d embrace was that is a spectator to my daughter’s bike-riding adventures. Yet, in doing so, I’ve learned valuable life lessons that go beyond the handlers and pedals.
My daughter, a bundle of youthful energy, took her bicycle like a duck to water. She approached it with an unwavering determination that left me in awe.
As I watched her confidently pedaling away, her face adorned with radiant smile, I could help but be inspired by her spirit.

I’ve never been much of a cyclist myself. So, as my daughter’s interest in cycling blossomed, I found myself in a unfamiliar position - that a spectator rather than a participant.
And now looking at this situation, my daughter has eventually become my parent. I’ve learned invaluable lessons on:
Resilience Independence Joy in the Moment Courgae Trust in Growth
My role as her mother isn’t just about teaching; it is also about learning from her, being inspired by her, and giving her her space to become the incredible person she is destined to be.
Yay! My next inspired actions are:
Train up for bike ride Get myself a rider’s license Go on a free ride Get myself a Harley
Happy Monday, everyone!
