Remember to have FUN.

Amid our busy lives and constant responsibilities, it is easy not to remember the importance of having FUN.

We often prioritise work, obligations, and taking care of others, neglecting our mental well-being.

However, embracing FUN and giving ourselves permission to indulge in enjoyable activities is a source of joy and a powerful tool for maintaining good mental health.

In the past two days, I have learned so much from our lady tourist guide. What differentiates this fantastic woman from the two others is her ability to exude Fun while at work.

She takes her time in going through the details of her work - not to project perfection but to exude passion. She eloquently proves her vast knowledge about the beautiful country of Italy.

And not just that, she also makes sure that you are wearing your wide-brimmed hat elegantly with tassels not hanging loose on the side. She listens with her heart. She commands knowledge gracefully and enjoys having Fun (even wearing a lemon-yellow dress with colour-matched sneakers).

And here's one more, she's 60, and she drives a Vespa!

Spending one and a half days with Patty made me experience the impact of having Fun on one's mental health,

1. Release stress and boost happiness 2. Enhancing creativity and problem-solving abilities 3. Building and strengthening connections 4. Balancing work and play 5. Cultivating self-care and self-compassion

Incorporating FUN into our lives is. A vital aspect of nurturing our mental health. We foster an uplifting mindset by embracing Fun as an essential part of self-care. And cultivate the resilience needed to face life's ups and downs.

Bravissimo, Patricia (Patty)!!!!

So, just like Patty, let us. Grant ourselves permission to have fun, to indulge in activities that bring us joy.

It's not only ok to have Fun - it's necessary.

Have a fun weekend, everyone!
