Why do people seek RTT?

People come into RTT for many reasons. Some need to respond to unexpected changes in their lives, while others seek self-exploration and personal growth. When coping skills are overwhelmed by guilt, doubt, anxiety, or despair, RTT can help.

RTT can provide support, problem-solving skills, and enhanced coping for issues such as depression, anxiety, lack of confidence, relationship troubles, unresolved childhood issues, bereavement, spiritual conflicts, stress management, body image issues, and creative blocks. People seeking RTT are willing to take responsibility for their actions, work towards self-change and create greater awareness in their lives.

How does RTT work?

Hypnosis, as the tool used in RTT, is a naturally occurring state of mind which happens to us every day. During a hypnotic trance, you go into a special state of mind where alpha and theta brain waves are present. This happens in a variety of situations – each time we read a captivating novel, float off in a daydream, or become absorbed in an entrancing movie, we are in this state.

Am I ever out of control?

In RTT, you will never lose consciousness. You are always in control. In fact, you will experience a relaxed, elevated sense of awareness.

How many sessions would I need?

Most people only need on average of 1-3 sessions for a specific issue. Some people like the process so much they choose to continue and work on other things.

Does RTT really work?

RTT may not solve every problem completely, and it is not a “magic pill”. It will be of value in most situations. There are many scientific studies that show the effectiveness of hypnosis. Hypnosis as the main tool used in RTT helps us gain control of responses and understand our core beliefs. Once you understand how you really feel about yourself or others, then real change can happen.

What is Hypnosis?

“Hypnosis is a way of directly accessing the subconscious mind so that clients can understand what is running their unwanted behaviours and then become free of them, through, a process suggestion that bypass the conscious mind and the critical factor, allowing the mind to accept a suggestion it would previously have not accepted.” - Marisa Peer, February 2017
